SHIFTFIX Privacy Policy (English)

This privacy policy applies to the SHIFTFIX (شفت فكس) mobile app published on Google Play (com.shiftfix.app) and the App Store (com.bukhamsen.shiftfix).

Data we collect

• Mobile number, to sign in with a one-time verification code and to contact you about your requests.
• Name, city and address, to schedule the technician's visit.
• Precise location, only when you choose to pin your address on the map. We do not track your location in the background.
• Appliance details such as type, invoice number, purchase date and the issue description.
• Photos you choose to attach from the camera or gallery.
• Your device's push notification token, to send request updates.
• Ratings and comments you submit after a visit.

How we use it

To open and schedule maintenance requests, assign technicians, notify you of progress by SMS and push notifications, show the technician's location while on the way, manage warranty and maintenance packages, and improve service quality. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Sharing

Only with our maintenance team and assigned technicians, our SMS provider, Google services (Firebase Cloud Messaging and Google Maps), and authorities where required by law.

Security and retention

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on our servers with restricted access. Maintenance and invoice records are kept as long as warranty and accounting regulations require.

Account deletion

In the app open Account → Delete account, or contact customer care from your registered number. Your app profile, saved address/location, notification tokens and verification codes are deleted and you are signed out everywhere; past maintenance records are kept for warranty and accounting purposes only.

Your rights

You can view and edit your data from the Account page in the app, or request its deletion at any time by contacting dev@mjb.com.sa.
